DARTNet Guided Exploration of Linkages Between Existing Health Data, Patient Reported Outcomes and PBRN Research
The AHRQ’s Practice-Based Research Network Resource Center hosted a research methodology webinar on Friday, August 7th from 1:00pm-2:30pm ET. Drs. Wilson Pace and Chester Fox discuseds opportunities for PBRNs to enhance research by using electronic health data. Through the discussion of the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (KDOQI) and TRANSLATE-CKD [(Chronic Kidney Disease), featured in the PBRN Webinar, “Best Practices for Measuring Practice Transformation to Implement the Triple Aim”] the presenters described PBRN research methods such as point of care testing, card studies and outcome-constrained data approaches such as propensity score matching.
This Live series activity, AHRQ Practice-Based Research Network Resource Center National Webinars, from 07/28/2015 - 07/28/2016, has been reviewed and is acceptable for credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
