2015 PBRN Conference: June 29 - 30 Bethesda, Maryland

PBRN researchers from the US, Canada, and many other nations came together to share strategies, methods, and results at the NAPCRG Practice-based Research Conference!

The 2015 Practice-based Research Network Conference was held June 29-30, 2015 in Bethesda, Maryland. The theme of the 2015 conference was "Engagement". Presentations and posters addressed diverse topics of interest to patients, caregivers, patient advocacy groups, community organizations, community clinicians, practice facilitators/study coordinators, network leadership, payors, funders, and policymakers.

2014 PBRN Conference: June 30 - July 1 Bethesda, Maryland

Congratulations to the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) and the conference Steering Committee on a very successful 2014 PBRN Conference!  At this conference, 217 members of the PBRN community came together to share strategies, methods, and results.  Conference presentations included a full range of issues related to practice-based research including "hot topic" areas such as PBRN infrastructure/operations, networking and partnerships, prevention & chronic disease management, quality improvement, health disparities, and research methodology/translation into practice.

Dr. James Mold of the Oklahoma Physicians Resource/Research Network (OKPRN) also received the PBRN Pioneer Award, honoring his dedication to promoting PBRN development, innovation, implementation and dissemination research.

2013 PBRN Conference: June 18-19  Bethesda, Maryland

PBRN researchers from across the globe shared strategies, methods, and results at the 2013 NAPCRG PBRN Conference! This year’s agenda included PBRN innovations and research projects on diverse topics of interest to community clinicians, practice facilitators/study coordinators, and network leadership. Colleagues spoke about the latest issues related to practice-based research in these exciting “hot topic” areas:

  • PBRN Infrastructure/Operations 
  • Networking and Partnerships 
  • Prevention & Chronic disease management 
  • Quality Improvement 
  • Electronic Health Records/Health Information Technology 
  • Health Disparities, and Research Methodology/Translation into Practice
