Mission Statement: 

To improve the quality of care provided in primary care and the health outcomes of patients by promoting research that addresses health problems and treatments that are important to primary care providers, patients and the health care delivery system. We will accomplish this mission by supporting a broad research program that synthesizes, generates and communicates primary care practice-based research. The network will emphasize: - increasing participation in research across the practices in JHCP - developing a research portfolio that includes practice- initiated research and external sponsor funded research - providing an infrastructure to develop primary care researchers from both academic departments and the community providers - translating research findings into clinical practice.
