The mission of the Western New York Practice Innovation Network (WNY-PIN) is to provide a primary care environment where innovative research and educational ideas can be tested, and treatments previously validated in specialized settings can be translated to primary care. Our members include several urban and sub-urban practices fostering inclusion and diversity and ensuring that novel treatments are available to all children in WNY irrespective of their ability to reach a tertiary center. Lastly, health care providers in the network have embraced a family-based approach that allows the inclusion of parents and family in translational studies.
